Smart Shuttle Line General Service Policy

It is the responsibility of every passenger to fully understand our policies before boarding any Smart Shuttle Bus. The policies detailed on this page apply to all services offered by Smart Shuttle LIne.

By reserving a seat with Smart Shuttle Line. Inc., the customer agrees to the policies outlined below and authorizes Smart Shuttle Line, Inc. to make the appropriate credit card charges.

Ticket Purchase

At this time, tickets may not be purchased upon boarding any Smart Shuttle Bus. All tickets must be purchased in advance with a credit card confirmation in order to hold a seat on any Smart Shuttle Bus. Our drivers do not carry cash for change.

To guarantee a seat on any bus, the ticket must be purchased online or by telephone by calling 772-343-0217 (no e-mails please) as soon as possible with a valid credit card. Passengers who show up at the stop without a reservation will obtain a seat on a first come first serve basis. Passengers who have pre-paid for a seat will be given preference and guaranteed a seat on the bus. 

 

If you plan on using our services without a reservation by showing up at one of our designated stops, we recommend calling us 6 hours in advance to verify shuttle schedules as they may change without prior notification.

Additional Seating

Passengers requiring more than one seat are strongly encouraged to purchase the required number of seats in advance.

Passenger Arrival Times at Departure Point

Please arrive at the designated bus stop or pickup location at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time in order to guarantee on-time departures. 

Phone & Communication

Passengers must have a working phone and be able to receive calls/texts on the service date. Airplane Mode must be off, and unknown calls should be allowed. Failure to respond, follow instructions, or remain reachable may result in a no-show with no refund or credit.

International Passengers

Passengers without U.S. cellular service must arrive 10 minutes before pickup and remain at the designated location until transportation arrives. For assistance call or message 772-343-0217 via WhatsApp.

Traveling Children

Lap children under two years of age ride for free, unless they occupy a seat, in which case they will be subject to a child fare fee.

All passengers under the age of 9 are to be accompanied by a supervising adult. For safety and security, unaccompanied minors of the age 9 years or younger are not permitted to board Smart Shuttle Buses. Passengers between the ages of 10 and 15 must be accompanied by a guardian of at least 16 years or older. At this time, Smart Shuttle Line, Inc. does not accept unaccompanied minors.

Denial of Service

Our company reserves the right to deny service to any individual who disturbs the driver, passengers or in any way prevents Smart Shuttle Line, Inc. from rendering its services properly and/or safely. Any passenger that disturbs the driver or other passengers will be immediately asked to deboard, and appropriate authorities may be called to assist the driver.

Lost Articles

OUR COMPANY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS FORGOTTEN IN OR OUT OF OUR BUSES. Any article forgotten in our buses may incur a $10 fee for return.

Cleaning & Damage Fee

A $250 cleaning fee applies to any bodily fluid incident, including vomiting, urination, or other incidents requiring cleaning and sanitization of the vehicle.

If a child damages a provided child safety or booster seat and it must be discarded, the passenger is responsible for the replacement cost.

License, Insurance & Liability

We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured and hold all required Florida permits.


We are not responsible for delays caused by accidents, breakdowns, weather, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. We do not guarantee specific arrival or departure times under such circumstances. Any resulting expenses are the passenger's responsibility.

Lost Travel Connections

Please Note: Smart Shuttle Line, Inc. is not responsible for any type of lost travel connections due to any type of cancelations or delays in service. All scheduled times are approximate times only. Scheduled shuttle times are subject to change based on traffic conditions, maintenance delays, weather conditions, and other inconveniences. Again, WE DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOST CONNECTIONS while utilizing our service for any type of delays or cancelations.

Vehicles

Vehicles shown on our website may differ from the vehicle provided. We will make every effort to provide a vehicle of equal class and quality.

Face Masks/Coverings

Masks/face coverings are no longer required to board Smart Shuttle Line Buses. However, the CDC still recommends wearing a mask if you have certain personal risk factors and/or high transmission levels in your area.

You must be respectful of riders that feel safer wearing masks because of personal or family health situations, so please be mindful of their preferences and respect other riders. Causing altercations or arguments as a result of wearing masks will result in immediate de-boarding from our shuttle and a permanent ban from riding Smart Shuttle Line.

The following are NOT permitted on any Smart Shuttle Bus: 

  • NO smoking within or around perimeter of bus 

  • NO alcoholic beverages 

  • NO illegal drugs 

  • NO loitering within or around bus 

  • NO solicitation 

  • NO foul language or demeaning language of any kind will be tolerated on any Smart Shuttle Line, Inc. shuttle bus or company grounds.

  • NO firearms, knives, or any other type of weapons 

  • NO flammable materials within or around perimeter of bus 

  • NO surfboards 

  • NO feet on seats 

  • NO sitting on armrests

 

Food and Beverage

Food and beverage items are permitted on any bus. All beverages must be in proper containers covered with lids or screw tops, no open top containers permitted. 

 

Dress

Proper attire is required to board and ride any Bus: Shoes and Shirts are required.

 

Pets

Small pets allowed only if carried in enclosed cases, service animals are permitted. 

 

Electronics

All radios, tape/CD players, iPods, mp3s, laptop computers, portable DVD players, and all other noise-making electronics are to be played using headphones. Cellular telephones may be used, and all conversations are to be kept brief using a low tone of voice. 

  

Service Stops

Smart Shuttle Bus Line, Inc. and property owners and managers of the service stops are not responsible for stolen items from vehicles or damages to or stolen vehicles parked in lots, and do not recommend parking vehicles in lots. All vehicles parked in lots at the bus stops will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Bus stop lots are only for dropping off and picking up passengers.
