Bus Rules & Regulations

Face Masks/Coverings

Masks/face coverings are no longer required to board Smart Shuttle Line Buses. However, the CDC still recommends wearing a mask if you have certain personal risk factors and/or high transmission levels in your area.

You must be respectful of riders that feel safer wearing masks because of personal or family health situations, so please be mindful of their preferences and respect others riders. Causing altercations or arguments as a result of wearing masks will result in immediate de-boarding from our shuttle and a permanent ban from riding Smart Shuttle Line.

The following are NOT permitted on any Smart Shuttle Bus: 

  • NO smoking within or around perimeter of bus 

  • NO alcoholic beverages 

  • NO illegal drugs 

  • NO loitering within or around bus 

  • NO solicitation 

  • NO foul language or demeaning language of any kind will be tolerated on any Smart Shuttle Line, Inc. shuttle bus or company grounds.

  • NO firearms, knives, or any other type of weapons 

  • NO flammable materials within or around perimeter of bus 

  • NO surfboards 

  • NO feet on seats 

  • NO sitting on armrests

 

Food and Beverage

Food and beverage items are permitted on any bus. All beverages must be in proper containers covered with lids or screw tops, no open top containers permitted. 

 

Dress

Proper attire is required to board and ride any Bus: Shoes and Shirts are required.

 

Pets

Small pets allowed only if carried in enclosed cases, service animals are permitted. 

 

Electronics

All radios, tape/CD players, iPods, mp3s, laptop computers, portable DVD players, and all other noise-making electronics are to be played using headphones. Cellular telephones may be used, and all conversations are to be kept brief using a low tone of voice. 

  

Vehicles

Smart Shuttle Bus Line, Inc. and property owners and managers of the service stops are not responsible for stolen items from vehicles or damages to or stolen vehicles parked in lots, and do not recommend parking vehicles in lots. All vehicles parked in lots at the bus stops will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Bus stop lots are only for dropping off and picking up passengers.

 

Our company reserves the right to deny service to any individual who disturbs the driver, passengers or in any way prevents Smart Shuttle Line, Inc. from rendering its services properly and safely.
